About …

This course is ideal for beginners and amateur photographers who would like to understand their cameras and the basic elements of digital photography. This course will enable you to make informed decisions when taking photos. You will no longer rely on your camera / pre-settings to make all the creative decisions for you. We keep the groups small (around 8-14 people) and follow a hands-on approach. Theories are supported with visual illustrations and we share personal experience and practical tips. You will also take part in three practical shoots under the guidance of a professional photographer! An exclusive online network has been created where students can upload their photos for evaluation and constructive critique.  The course concludes with practical advice on how to build and manage your own photo library and portfolio. The course is presented in 9 sesisons over 6-7 weeks, after hours, to ensure that working people can attend.
