This one day Lightroom Course is aimed at photographers who  needs to establish a complete digital workflow that will save them time and maximise their post editing processes. From downloading, to cataloguing, editing to printing, creating photo websites and slideshows; Lightroom is the one complete package for any photographer.

Digital Workflow and archiving essentials; Lightoom Workspace and Shortcuts; Importing Images and Tethered Capture; Working with and Organizing your Images; Metadata & Keywords; Filtering & Finding Images; Photoshop & Elements Integration; Editing your images using the Develop module and Basic Controls; Cropping; Retouching; Graduated Filter; Adjustment Brush; White Balance, Tone Controls; Presence Settings, HSL, Black and White, and Split Toning; Sharpening and Noise Reduction; Vignettes and Effects; Overview of the Slideshow, Print & Web Modules

 

Costs…

R1,500 per person. Lunch and beverages included. (Discount of R250 apply for Photo Critic members)

 

Requirements…

You will need to bring your own Computer or Notebook Computer along. (Minimum specs 2GB RAM, 10GB free HDD space).  We will provide all students with a 30-day trial edition of Adobe Photoshop  Lightroom. It is also expected that attendees will have at least a general understanding of their computers and how to do basic tasks, such as copy, paste, installing software, browse for files etc. If you have not yet come to grips with these basic aspects, we recommend that you register for a Basic PC Skills Workshop.
